Business Ideas:

A Discussion

 ************

“Good ideas are a dime a dozen.

Implementation of those ideas is the hard part.”

A. Hicks, Ph.D.

 #######

I want to provide a place for the discussion of business ideas.

·        Company ideas.

·        Services ideas.

·        Product ideas.

I wanted to start out with ideas I have worked up.

More showing than telling.

After the start we can discuss other folks ideas.

  •     How to evaluate markets.

  •     How to determine if it's worth it.

  •     How to you present it if it is.

If you are worried about someone stealing your great idea, please do not talk about it.

The Only Way to Keep a Secret is Not Tell it to ANYONE.

Old Southern Ohio saying.

For now these ideas will be ones I have considered.  I gleaned these ideas out from publicly available information.  They vary in their stages of work up.

That's the idea here.

  •     Works in progress.

  •     Moving them further on.

  •     Attempt to show novices how to work it through.

  •     It is different for every situation.

If these ideas happen to coincide with an idea you had or have or even have a Patent already prepared, it’s a “great minds think alike” situation.

Not me stealing anything from anyone!

Furthermore, when I refer to existing Patents and other Intellectual Property (I.P.), the assignees of the patent maintain the legal rights for the utilization of that I.P.

If you want to use that I.P. for any purpose, talk to the Assignees first.

Get a use-license.  Give them a percentage of future profits.

Talk to people up front and negotiate.  That is business.

Everyone should make money.

It's safer that way and keeps the law suits way down.

This site is meant to stir the Idea pot.  Show people how to get from here to there.

If we can?  Get people thinking about their ideas and technologies.  Tech Transfer 101.

Remember this is considered a public place.  What is said here is open source.

So, all responses will not have an immediate posting.  This is not a Forum yet.

It may get to that, but not yet.  I will edit the correspondences before posting them.

Still keep the rants and wacky to a minimum.
